INOX Celebrates 15 Years of Association with Prestigious IFFI

Doubles the association in 16^th year with dedication of Porvorim multiplex as IFFI venue

To promote and build awareness about the Festival across the country

Mumbai/Panaji, 13^th November, 2019. India’s leading cinema chain, INOX Leisure Ltd (INOX) has completed 15 years of its association with one of the most prestigious, significant and the oldest film festivals in Asia, The International Film Festival of India, popularly known as IFFI. As the association with IFFI completes 15 years, INOX has doubled the partnership with the dedication of its multiplex at Porvorim as the second INOX venue for film screening, besides the multiplex at Panaji. INOX has been hosting the screening of the films since 2004, ever since Goa became the venue. The INOX multiplex at Porvorim has 4 screens and 911 seats and would help in catering to the growing demand for more screens and seats, as the Festival celebrates its Golden Jubilee. In all, IFFI would have 8 screens across two INOX multiplexes in Goa dedicated for screening of films and conducting Master Classes and workshops, besides Kala Academy and other venues.

In addition, INOX would also work towards promoting and building more awareness about IFFI through extensive promotions at multiplex INOX locations across the country, including the showcasing of a 25 second promotional film on IFFI.

Amit Satija, Chief Executive Officer, Entertainment Society of Goa added, “The 50th edition of the film festival is going to be bigger and better. There are more than 200 films this year and few films will have multiple screenings. We are happy to get an additional location with additional screens from INOX this year at Porvorim.”
