The Academy, the voting body of the Annual Oscars has recently sent out their invitation to 819 individuals who have contributed majorly in their respective fields. Bollywood gem Hritik Roshan has been invited to join the Academy of Motion Pictures and Sciences 2020 and will have voting rights for the 93rd Academy Awards for his excellent performance in Ashutosh Gowariker’s Jodha Akbar. It’s a moment of pride for the entire AGPPL(Ashutosh Gowariker Productions Pvt Ltd) as three of the renowned artists who have been invited to be a part of the prestigious Academy Awards is for their phenomenal work for projects under the AGPPL banner.
Famous fashion designer Neeta Lulla has been included in the list of invitees for her marvellous costume designs in the mammoth film Jodha Akbar, along with Sandeep Kamal for outstanding Visual effects supervising(VFX) in Panipat which was highly acclaimed by the critics. It is a proud moment for AGPPL as their note worthy projects has brought in such a great opportunity for all these talented artists to be able to cast their eminent vote at the Academy Awards. India’s most celebrated film Lagaan directed by visionary director Asutosh Gowariker himself was nominated for the best Foreign Language Film at the 74th Academy Awards which made him the voting member at the Academy Awards. AGPPL have created legendary cinema and gifted the audience films that are much ahead of their times with meaningful content. Three artists being invited for their work in projects under the AGPPL banner is really smashing and worth the cheer.
