REPATRIATION FLIGHTS FROM INDIA TO DUBAI* UPDATE 140720

We are pleased to announce Repatriation flights from selected Indian origins to Dubai until 26th Jul 2020. These flights are loaded in all the GDS and on emirates.com.
Please be updated on the following booking procedures and guidelines :
  • Passengers are required to carry COVID-19 negative test result of the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test conducted not more than 96 hours before departure from government of India approved lab.
  • The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has listed laboratories  that perform the real-time RT-PCR test for Covid-19 across the country.
  • PCR test and certificate to be borne by the passenger.
  • Verification of PCR test certificate will be managed by airport team as part of documentation checks at the time of flight departure.
  • If you hold a Dubai residence visa and you are flying back to Dubai, you must have return approval from the General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA).
  • Apply for return approval when you book your flight with us. Please complete the application on thGeneral Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA) website before you book your flight with us.
  • During the GDRFA application process, you will be asked to enter your Resident File Number. This number is on your visa under File.
  • Check the GDRFA website to see the status of your application. If your application is approved, you will receive an email with a GDRFA reference number. If the application can’t be processed at the time of the request, you can try again after four days. There is no need to follow up on your status with our call centre or GDRFA.
  • You need your GDRFA Application Number to complete your flight booking.
  • All travellers to Dubai, must complete this health declaration form and give it to the staff at check-in.
  • You will also need to complete the quarantine undertaking form given to you on board. Hand this form to the Dubai Health Authority staff on arrival.
  • You must also declare at check-in that you have health insurance or will bear the costs for treatment and isolation if required.
  • As per new Emirates policy, reconfirmation of the PNR is mandatory :Please update OSI EK PAX DFNT and change the booking status to RR from HK: In case PNR is not reconfirmed, it may result in cancellation of the same.
  • Chauffeur Drive Service is not applicable on the repatriation flights.
  • The customer must download the COVID-19-DXB Smart App.
