Gurugram, October 01, 2022: MG Motor India today announced retail sales of 3,808 units in September 2022, registering a growth of 17.5% over the corresponding month last year. This also marks a 11% rise in sales volumes for Q3 2022 over Q2 2022. The waiting period continues to be 3-6 months across models impacted by supply chain constraints. The company, however, remains focused, as always, on creating and delivering meaningful customer experiences..
The Advanced Gloster, which was launched last month, has received an encouraging response. The all-new ZS EV has also performed well, and its retail numbers are highest in this year so far, underscoring MG Motor's commitment and focus on growing the Indian EV market. The carmaker’s other brands – Hector and Astor continue to do well in the face of healthy customer demand. However, the semiconductor availability issue persists, limiting MG to supply only the Astor MT model for the time being. The company is hopeful about commencing deliveries of the Astor automatic variants soon, and is grateful for the patience and support of its customers.
