Thane, 15th August, 2020: As we celebrate our 74th Independence Day, while the entire world is under slow but steady unlocking; there were some warriors, whom we need to recognise who stood as a shield protecting us during this pandemic.
Korum Mall, being a prominent community centre of Thane, celebrated Independence Day today with a difference by recognising the selfless effort of front line service heroes like Doctors, Police, Thane Municipal and Emergency Services Support teams, select individuals apart from the essential service and upkeep frontline workers – the real Super Heroes of the society for their tireless effort to serve us.
Independence Day being a sovereign occasion to recognize the #HeroesOfTheSociety, Korum Invited a special guest of honor, Dr. Sushil Indoria for flag hoisting this year, recognizing him as one of the Hero for his great contribution towards society. Dr. Indoria is a renowned medical practitioner of Thane and a COVID-19 survivor. He is one of the key contributors by dedicating his entire hospital and staff to ensure that Thane is successfully fighting the pandemic.
Korum recognises the sacrifice of #HeroesOfTheSociety, these unsung Super Heroes, also include the front line workers of Retail who have been tirelessly ensuring that essential shopping is sustained during this Global crisis. We salute our front line team #HeroesOfKorum, Men and Women who have left the worry for their own children and family and have chosen to travel even by foot in some cases during the lockdown to ensure that the mall is safe for essential shopping in thane.
