India, 1st August, 2020: Today, singer songwriter Anuv Jain released his new track ‘Alag Aasmaan’. After the massive success of ‘Maula’, ‘Alag Aasmaan’ is Anuv’s second release since the country went into lockdown.
‘Alag Aasmaan’ narrates the story of a girl who is leaving the guy's place and is traveling back to her house which is in a different city, under a different sky. The soulful lyrics captures the feeling of what the girl goes through at every step of her journey and how the guy assures her that no matter where she is, he is with her and no matter how long it takes before they meet again, and he’ll never change. ‘Alag Aasmaan’ beautifully articulates the emotions of hope, young love, sadness & heartbreak.
“It is very rare to meet each other in a long-distance relationship and when you finally do, the goodbyes can get pretty difficult. There's so much uncertainty and you do not know when you'll meet again. Alag Aasmaan is very relevant in the current times as a lot of people around the world cannot see their loved ones. Even after being stuck under different skies (Alag Aasmaan), the spirit of hope & strength is high,” said the 25 years old singer-songwriter Anuv Jain.
“The way I've written it, I've tried to make the song a hopeful one. It has themes of a young, foolish love and talks about how no relationship is insignificant. How people in long-distance relationships spend little time together but still make the most of it and fill this with innumerable memories”, he further added.
Earlier, Anuv Jain cemented his place among the country’s best indie artistes with his song, Maula, launched during the lockdown, a song based on his feelings of turmoil upon losing his father at the age of 17. Anuv’s hard-hitting lyrics, paired with his mesmerizing guitaring and stirring high-note vocals, create the perfect space to drown in feelings of love and loss. With over 18 million views from his four singles on YouTube at just 25, the Ludhiana-based singer, songwriter has ample music in store for his fans.
