This cooperation is the result of a reconciliation agreement between the two countries in the presence of Portugal's Prime Minister Antonio Costa while on a tour to Goa in the year 2017.

As part of a MoU, students interested in adventure related to international education are given the opportunity to visit Portugal as part of the exchange program.
