Qyuki Creator Danish Alfaaz Makes his Music Debut with Pop Track “Bengali Beauty”

Composed and produced remotely during the lockdown,

Alfaaz’s debut track started out as a gift before snowballing into a promising debut

Mumbai, 17th July 2020: Qyuki’s creator Danish Alfaaz has released the music video for his debut track “Bengali Beauty.” The pop song and the music video were both created and produced during the lockdown to mark the birthday of YouTuber Sana Eslam Khan, the titular “Bengali Beauty” in the feature. Depicting the digital duo, the track is Alfaaz’s declaration of love to Khan, who is also his partner and creative collaborator.

The idea for “Bengali Beauty” stemmed from Alfaaz wishing to mark the occasion of his girlfriend’s birthday in a special manner. The lockdown brought with it constraints but Alfaaz went beyond the expected to create something truly unique for his lover. The four-minute clip traces the timeline of the couple out on a date night, while Alfaaz’s lyrics relate why every moment with Khan is unforgettable.

Says Danish Alfaaz,

“The release of ‘Bengali Beauty’ makes me excited and nervous at the same time. This song is special to me in so many ways. Firstly, this is my first original song ever. This was made as a birthday surprise for someone I really love; my girlfriend, my Bengali Beauty Sana. Secondly, I've not just shot the music video but also written, composed and put in a lot of effort. I want to thank  Qyuki for their constant support throughout my journey. I really hope the audience likes ‘Bengali Beauty’.”

“Bengali Beauty” also marks Alfaaz’s debut as a musician. The pop track glides on a bed of synth and flirts with laces of electronica. Replete with melodic hooks, “Bengali Beauty” is a bonafide pop earworm, melding upbeat production with honest lyricism. While “Bengali Beauty” started out as an idea for a gift, it has soon snowballed into one of the year’s most promising debuts. Alfaaz’s sublime vocals make the song a breezy listen and one can only hope the creator has more musical offerings in the mix ahead.
