We deeply mourn the demise of Shri Jai Bhawan Gupta, our Treasurer. He succumbed to Covid on the 18th of July 2020 at the age of 69. It is a great loss for all of us and we will always remember and cherish his meaningful contribution in protecting
the lives and livelihoods of many small retailers and looking after their welfare. His passing away leaves a huge void for all members of FRAI. He leaves behind his sons Pankaj, Amit and Sumit and daughter in laws Shelley and Komal. Our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. May Shri Gupta's soul rest in peace.
Federation of Retailer Association of India (FRAI), a representative body of about 4 crore micro, small and medium retailers from across the country with membership of 34 Retail Associations from Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western part of the country. The federation has been working to protect the interests of poor retailers in the country and raise issues which impact their employment opportunities and render help to such people who are unable to express their views. The federation also bring to the attention of the Government policies which will help promote and protect employment in the unorganised retail sector.
