Bahut Hua Samman is a satirical comedy that revolves around the story of two engineering students Bony and Fundoo, who are part-time con men and decide to rob a bank in the quaint town of Varanasi. Unable to find a job after failing their final year of engineering, and influenced by an old man fondly known as Bakch*d Baba, their master plan goes totally awry as they realize that the bank has already been robbed and they have been arrested for it. In an attempt to clear their name, they soon fight off assassins, seasoned robbers, elite politicians and religious gurus; all while unravelling a larger scam. Riddled with humour, the narrative challenges a myriad societal issue faced by today’s youth. Streaming now on Disney+ Hotstar VIP, the cast talks about why the movie is a must watch.

Fourthly, the most amazing part of the movie is it’s background music, what a great choice of songs. God knows who found the songs – they are brilliant! You need guts to direct this film at such a time – show humor in such a subtle way. The movie is very candid, it doesn’t look like anyone is acting, it looks like the conversations are natural and have been captured candidly. The movie brings out the message comically without any preaching. After Jane Bhi Do Yaaro, if there’s any satirical film, it's this. It's very close to my heart. It shows a mirror to society.
