After two successful years of entertaining the audience, Zee Tamil returned with the third season of the Zee Tamil Kutumbam Viruthugal 2020. It was a glorious evening in Chennai where the red carpet was rolled for the Zee Tamil family to felicitate the stars and celebrate the exceptional talent in the Zee Tamil Family.
This year, the Zee Tamil Kudumbam Viruthugal was unique right from holding a unique prelude event for the nomination process of Best Award categories by bringing out the best of the artists with fun filled tasks for 3 days in a majestic bungalow, to the voting process for the Favorite Award categories going completely digital and to the execution of the show in a larger than life cinema theater like set-up. Zee Tamil has outdone itself this year with the agility of their approach. In keeping with the new normal, adhering to the government regulations, and most importantly in the interest of people’s safety, the award function was held in a restricted studio setup.
It was an evening high on glitz, glamour and entertainment. There were high-octane and fun-filled performances by the Zee Tamil Kutumbam, providing the audiences with the much-needed thrill for the on-air show. The stage was set on fire with Nanda Master & Chandini’s special dance performance, Sree Kumar & Naksatra’s dance sequence, soulful & high-octane tunes sung by SaReGaMaPa stars, followed by Suryavamsam family performance to name a few. This year the stage & set-up was designed to give the viewers a complete cinematic theater & jaw dropping experience as well as would offer the viewer a visual delight when the show is on-air on TV.
A night charged with energy, the event was graced by Hon. Minister D. Jayakumar, Government of Tamilnadu and the who’s who of Kollywood such as, Vijay Sethupathi, Aishwarya Rajesh, Parthipan, Director Ameer, Bhagiyaraj, MS Baskar, Harish Kalyan, Singer Sreenivas, Manobala, RK Suresh, RK Selvamani, Cheran, Vijay Antony, Sharanya Turadi, Parvati Nair, Director & Actor Ramesh Kanna to name a few.
