 ‘Hyundai Motor India Foundation hands over a Cheque of Rs. 1 Cr to Assam Chief Minister's Relief Fund’.Mumbai / Guwahati, July 30, 2019:
 Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF), the philanthropic arm of Hyundai Motor India Ltd., today responded to the devastating floods in Assam by handing over a Cheque of Rs. 1 Crore to the Assam Chief Minister's Relief Fund (CMRF).  Mr. Stephen Sudhakar J, Sr. Vice President – Administration, HMIL and Trustee of Hyundai Motor India Foundation and Mr. Bedabrata Sharma Bordoloi (Zonal Business Head – East) along with dealer principles of Oja Hyundai, Saraighat Hyundai and Akash Hyundai met the Honourable Chief Minister of Assam, Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, to hand-over the cheque.  HMIF is the first automobile philanthropic foundation to contribute to the fund. Additionally, the dealers of HMIL are extending monetary and material help to the community, to help restore normalcy.
 Always at the forefront of lending a helping hand, HMIF has contributed to the CM’s Relief fund of Tamil Nadu in 2015 during the floods & in 2018 during cyclone Gaja, to the CM’s Relief fund of Kerala during the 2018 floods and to the Odisha Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund in May 2019.
