It’s a men’s world they say. But is this masculinist behavior affecting your married life? Ignoring the daily chores might not seem like a big deal in real life. Men are not used to carrying out household activities as they think it’s the work of the house-ladies but this 21st century needs a different approach towards life.
A survey of Gleeden in the Indian community shows that ‘7 women out of 10 have cheated on their spouses because he was too little involved in the daily chores’.
Alarming, isn’t it. Well, every one of us needs attention and support, especially from our spouses. Ignorance or lack of participation in the daily chores or even household responsibilities can lead to a sense of ignorance in our life-partners and this is when the problem starts creeping in. It’s human nature to seek attention and care and we all want that. So, if we are not getting it from our life-partner, we start seeking it from outside.
A survey of Gleeden shows that ‘31% of unfaithful women have already had an affair with one of their neighbors!’
This problem is even worse in the metropolitan cities where most of the couples are working. In this scenario, both the men and women should help each other out with their daily chores and other household responsibilities. If one of the two backs out from this day-to-day responsibility, it gets very hard for the latter to handle everything on their own. Physical support is as important as emotional and mental support and sheer ignorance of our spouses is the very reason for the following data.
According to Gleeden’s survey, ‘India’s most unfaithful women live in the big metropolis: Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Kolkata are in the top 3’
The idea of marriage is based on togetherness and endless support for our respective spouses. ‘Ignorance’ might be bliss but not in this case!
Would love to know your feedback on the above shared idea.
