Milan : Emirates codeshare customers to make their own arrangements to transfer between Milan Malpensa airport (MXP) and Milano Centrale train station (XIK).The recommended mode of transfer is ‘Malpensa Express’ shuttle train service (50 mins) however, alternate transportation options such as bus and taxi are available (60-100 mins). Bologna : Emirates codeshare customers to make their own arrangements to transfer between Bologna Airport (BLQ) and Bologna Central Railway Station (IBT).The recommended mode of transfer is Bus (approximately 30 mins) however, alternatively taxi service is available (approximately 20-30 mins). Venice : Emirates codeshare customers to make their own arrangements to transfer between Venice Marco Polo airport (VCE) and Venezia S. Lucia train station (XVQ) / Venezia Mestre train station (XVY).The recommended mode of transfer is Bus 30 mins to Venezia S.Lucia train station (XVQ) and 20-30 mins to Venezia Mestre train station (XVY) however, alternative transportation options taxi and water taxi are available (20-45 mins).         Boarding at Railway Station Customers can board applicable trains directly without exchanging their ticket/boarding pass for a separate Trenitalia ticket. EK Customers will be assigned a seat number and car number. Customers can find these details on their e-ticket on Emirates.com or through the Trenitalia ticketing KIOSK’s at railway stations. It is essential that customers hold the EK PNR readable electronically by Trenitalia staff on the trains. Customers should have a copy of Emirates E-TKT and itinerary, showing Trenitalia seats and carriage numbers. If booked through a Travel Agent, customers must download and print the EK copy from our website. Baggage Emirates Baggage allowance applies for train journeys and baggage dimension restrictions apply. It is the customers' responsibility to collect their checked bags from the arrival hall at relevant airports and carry them to their respective train and vice-versa. Customer is responsible for their own baggage during the train journey. Baggage can be stored at overhead lockers, under the seats and there is seperate section for large bags. Lounge Customer travelling on Trenitalia Executive class can present Emirates ticket to gain access to the dedicated lounge wherever available and eligible. Fast track Customer travelling on Trenitalia Executive class can present Emirates ticket to gain access to the Fast Track facility at Rome and Milan station security. Eligibility Trenitalia can only be booked in connection with EK operated flight. Available for all Revenue customers. Reward booking and OAL FFP tickets are not permitted. Unaccompanied Minors ARE not permitted. FAQ's 1. Can the train be booked online or though GDS?     Yes. The train service can be booked through ek.com and through GDS. 2. Are stopovers permitted in Italy?     No. Stopovers are not allowed. 3. Will EK fare rules on re-issue charges, refunds, penalties apply on the train segment?     Yes. EK fare rules apply. 4. After ticket issuance, can an existing ticket be reissued to include Train Service?     Yes. Standard EK ticketing policy applies. 5. Are reissue charges waived if customer books itinerary online and later wants to include      train service?     The ticket will need to be reissued to include the train service. Standard fare rules apply. 6.  How will passenger booking this service know that this is a train service?      Equipment will show as “TRN” and there will be a disclaimer indicating the operating carrier.
