Sands Resorts Macao Brings Roadshows Back to India

Annual event highlights integrated resorts’ superb hotel offerings, MICE, entertainment and dining
(India, Oct 3, 2019) – Sands Resorts Macao hosted a gala dinner in Delhi on Sept. 25 and Mumbai on Sept. 27 entitled Make Your Mark as part of an international roadshow series taking place in 19 cities throughout Asia. The events aim to introduce the leading integrated resorts’ latest offerings to the travel industry, meeting organisers and media partners, while further reinforcing business relationships in these key markets and acknowledging their continued support.
The Make Your Mark theme represents how Sands Resorts Macao is constantly looking for ways to innovate and create opportunities while leaving a lasting positive impression of its latest hotel, entertainment, dining, retail and meetings offerings. It also underlines how its industry partners can forge closer and more successful relationships with the integrated resorts.
The six-month roadshow series is an annual event that incorporates gala dinners, VIP lunches and product seminars in cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Xiamen, Tianjin, Changsha, Chongqing, Nanning, Seoul, Hong Kong, Osaka, Tokyo, Taipei, Kaohsiung, Singapore, Delhi and Mumbai.
Stephanie Tanpure, Vice President of Sales, Sands China Ltd. said, “As an organisation that seeks to innovate and reinvent, we consider it essential to invest in face-to-face meetings that bring our business partners around the world up to date on developments at our integrated resorts.”
She added, “We are grateful for the strong and successful partnerships we enjoy with our trade partners. Our shared vision has made Sands Resorts Macao Asia’s ultimate destination while contributing to Macao becoming a regional hub of tourism, MICE and entertainment.”
The gala event incorporated signature Streetmosphere performers dressed in the event colour of gold, to meet and greet guests, followed by cocktails and dinner buffet. Sands Resorts Macao’s own in-house dancers and singers performed a Parisian themed act, with a London inspired routine as the finale. Evening events also included a unique show from Japanese group ENRA, combining dance, performance art, music and technology.
2019 is shaping up to be an outstanding year for Sands Resorts Macao, with work ongoing on The Londoner Macao integrated resort, which will incorporate four world-class hotel brands: the new The Londoner Hotel (previously Holiday Inn Macao Cotai Central), alongside enhanced existing properties Conrad Macao, Cotai Central, Sheraton Grand Macao Hotel, Cotai Central and The St. Regis Macao, Cotai Central.
Complementing The Venetian Macao and The Parisian Macao, The Londoner Macao will feature authentic recreations of classic British landmarks both inside and outside, and will offer a 6,000-seat arena. To be opened progressively between 2020 and 2021, The Londoner Hotel will be all suite, with two floors of luxury suites designed together with Sands Resorts Macao brand ambassador David Beckham.
Other exciting recent developments include The Venetian Macao and The Parisian Macao becoming InterContinental Alliance Resorts partners with IHG, one of the world’s leading hotel companies, effective immediately through 2027. The Londoner Hotel in Macao will join the alliance when it is completed.
