~Mawa Foundation and Young Entrepreneurs came together to bring smile on this Diwali~
New Delhi, 28th October 2019: The festival of light got brighter this year for Mawa Foundation, a non-profit organisation, as they decided to celebrate this Diwali with the kids and families living in the slums of Delhi NCR. Mawa Foundation raised funds from the young entrepreneurs of New Delhi and initiated this campaign, with the vision to give back to the society by lighting some houses.
In collaboration with the youthful entrepreneurs, the volunteers of the NGO travelled to the slums near Mayur Vihar Phase 3, Trans-Yamuna region of Delhi. The volunteers- including the founders and directors of Mawa Foundation along with the other volunteers decided to come on-ground and spread happiness by distributing sweets, donating books, diyas, clothes and blankets to the people of that region.
Mr Ambrish Singh Baghel, Co-Founder, Mawa Foundation said, “We have been trying to give back to the society with all the best possible way. With adjoining young entrepreneurs of Delhi, we got the chance to meet and spread smile to further more people on this Diwali, and giving is the best way to grow happier. We look forward for more such contribution to the society in the coming time and also planning for something big for Christmas as well.”
