National, 13 May, 2019: Award-winning Indian singer Benny Dayal has been unveiled as the artist representing India for the third edition of Tuborg OPEN, a global music project which uses music as a platform to encourage people to be Open for Fun by pushing the boundaries of what they know and like. The popular Indian singer will be collaborating with global artists Clean Bandit to create a brand-new track. The trio, made up of Grace Chatto and brothers Luke and Jack Patterson, have sold 44 million global singles, working with artists such as Demi Lovato and Sean Paul on their hit tracks ‘Solo’ and ‘Rockabye’.
Clean Bandit, the Grammy Award winning UK pop band renowned for their collaborative and open approach to blending musical genres, will be joining Benny in Mumbai on 16th & 17th May 2019. During the two-day visit, Benny will immerse the band in Mumbai’s local culture to give them a better understanding of the influences and styles that make music in India.
Benny will be taking the band to some of his favourite local places in Mumbai before they come together to give fans an exclusive opportunity to interact with the Tuborg OPEN collaborators. Inspired by their experiences in India, which will include time in the studio with Benny, Clean Bandit will collaborate on a new Benny Dayal track which will be released later in the summer.
