Minister of State Shri Madan Yerawarto inaugurate 20thGrand Edition of LED Expo in Mumbai

Mumbai, Opening this week, LED Expo will bring some of the leading LED technology manufacturers from domestic and international markets from 9 – 11 May 2019 to Mumbai, to promote widespreadpenetration of LED lights throughout the country. Organised by Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt Ltd, around 295 companies from 5countries will be occupying hall 3 of Bombay Exhibition Centre to showcase LED lighting products, signages and displays, LED components, chips, accessories, raw materials, manufacturing equipment and allied products to Indian corporate, private and government sectors. Many of these brands have chosen the platform to launch, demonstrate or announce their entry into new LED product segments.
Shri Madan Yerawar, Hon’ble Minister of State – Energy, Tourism, Food & Drugs Administration, Public Works, General Administration, New & Renewable Energy, Government of Maharashtra has confirmed  to inaugurate the 20th grand edition which is  21% bigger than last edition covering over9000 sqms of exhibition space and featuring 295 exhibiting companies.
Guest of Honors - Shri Kantilal B. Umap IAS, Director General, Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA), Pune and Shri Prashant Badgeri, Dy. Secretary, Ministry of Energy, Government of Maharashtra will also be present at the inauguration. Mr Raj Manek, Executive Director and Board Member of Messe Frankfurt Asia Holding Ltd. said: “LED Expo plays an essential role in the bringing in fundamental products and cutting edge technologies to the Indian markets. Showcasing a constant growth in the business and trust towards the brand, this year, the show has witnessed 21% growth in both space and total number of exhibitors.
At the 20thedition of this international exhibition on LED lighting products and technologies in India, special emphasis has been given to the needs of buyers and trade visitors through a new well-structured exhibition format wherein a hall-wise product segmentation of the various products and applications of LEDs will allow visitors to see leading brands in the same segment together and compare prices and value additions. The fair is also expected to pull in regulatory bodies and sector players together to cover exciting trends in LEDs.
