Singer Anand Bhaskar’s has lent his voice for two songs for Season 2 of MX Player’s web series Thinkistan. The music for the songs has been composed by Neel Adhikari, and is directed by Padmakumar N.
The first song is called Gumnaam and is about a guy who is struggling to keep his identity intact. It is about the compromises he has to make to survive in the corporate world and how he is forced to question his individuality.
The second song called Kahani Mulaqaaton Ki is about this guy who has seen success in life but is now going through hard times.
“I can’t wait to share the singles when they come out. Recording for the songs was an amazing experience. I remember I was having a bad day that day, and was exhausted mentally and physically. On top of that, the recording was at 10 pm, and I somehow made it to the studio. But once the song was recorded, I came back with a boost of adrenaline. It was really good working with Neel. He has a certain aura about him. He is very particular about what he wants and knows how to get it out of the singer. I can’t wait to work with him again,” said Anand.
Thinkistan stars Mandira Bedi, Shravan Reddy and Naveen Kasturia among a host of other talented people.
सिंगर आनंद भास्कर ने एमएक्स प्लेयर की वेब सीरीज़ थिंकिस्तान - सीजन 2 के दो गीतों में अपनी आवाज दी है। गानों का म्यूजिक नील अधिकारी द्वारा कम्पोज किया गया है और पद्मकुमार एन ने गानों का निर्देशन किया है।
पहले गीत का नाम 'गुमनाम' है यह एक ऐसे व्यक्ति के बारे में है जो अपनी पहचान को बनाए रखने के लिए लगातार संघर्ष कर रहा है। कॉरपोरेट जगत में बने रहने के लिए उसके द्वारा किए जाने वाले समझौतों और किस तरह उसे अपने ही व्यक्तित्व पर सवाल उठाने के लिए मजबूर किया जाता है, इस गीत द्वारा इन सभी के बारे में बताया गया है। 'कहानी मुलाकातों की' नामक दूसरा गीत एक ऐसे व्यक्ति के बारे में है जिसने जीवन में अपार सफलता देखी है लेकिन अब वह अपने कठिन दौर से गुजर रहा है।
आनंद ने कहा - " मैं इन सिंगल्स की रिलीज़ का बेसब्री से इंतजार कर रहा हूं ताकि इन्हे जल्द से जल्द शेयर कर सकूं। इन गानों की रिकॉर्डिंग मेरे लिए एक अद्भुत अनुभव था। मुझे याद है वह दिन मेरे लिए कितना बुरा दिन था, और मैं मानसिक और शारीरिक रूप से कमजोर महसूस कर रहा था| रिकॉर्डिंग रात 10 बजे की थी और मैं किसी किसी तरह से स्टूडियो पहुँचा था। लेकिन जैसे ही रिकॉर्डिंग पूरी हुई, मेरे अंदर फिर से वही जोश और जुनून वापस आ गया। आनंद ने आगे बताया कि नील के साथ काम करना वास्तव में अच्छा था। नील की एक खासियत है कि वे अच्छे से जानते है उन्हें क्या चाहिए और उसे किस तरह गायक के अंदर से बाहर निकाला जाए। मुझे उनके साथ दुबारा काम करने के मौके का इंतजार रहेगा|
