Mumbai, Date: Creator-Producer Siddharth Malhotra’s vision in content has shone through in every project he has helmed. At a time when Indians are only beginning to understand women empowerment and its significance, Siddharth Malhotra strongly feels the need to portray empowered women in his shows. He believes this is the best way to changing mindsets and setting the right example.
“A lot of the content I make and aim to make is watched by audiences in tier two and three cities, where a woman’s character is judged basis her outer appearance. I like to portray empowered women who make their own decisions, although this is not the trend followed on television sadly. We have contemporary stories to tell and it’s important that women are showed in the right kind of light”, says Siddharth Malhotra.
Producer-Director Siddharth Malhotra has always set the bar high in every project he has taken on. Whether it was creating Dil Mil Gaye or Sanjivani at a time when these genres has remained unexplored for Indian audiences or directing a film like Hichki, had a great run at the box office, Siddharth has always foreseen the changes in the audiences’ preferences.
