These kids are the future of Pro Kabaddi League as they get a great platform through KBD Juniors. It is a one of a kind initiative by Star Sports as they have brought Kabaddi to this level and I am happy to see kids getting a platform like this to showcase their talent and build their love for the sport. This will only help to popularize the game and will take the game of Kabaddi forward”.
Winning coach, Abhay Mahadev Jagtap of Pawar Public School said,“I am very happy with the result as we have won two times in a row now. The opponent team was also very deserving, and our strategy was to keep their key player away from the mat as much as possible in which we succeeded. My main raider and defenders performed well simultaneously and as a result we were able to win KBD Juniors this year as well in Pune”.
The schools in fray for the coveted title of Pune city champions included Abhinava Vidyalaya, DSK School, Aaryans World School, MES Boys School, New Pune Public School and Sheth R N Shah School
