Larsen & Toubro (L&T) triumphs Project of the Year award at the 11th Project Management Institute (PMI) India Awards 2019

Mumbai, September 23, 2019Project Management Institute (PMI) India, the world's leading not-for-profit professional membership association for the project management profession, has announced Larsen & Toubro (B & F division) as the winner of 11th PMI India Awards in the Project of the year - Large category for the Statue of Unity project. Apart from this, Public Works Department, Dehradun won in the Medium category for their Uttarakhand Emergency Assistance Project (Road and Bridge). RITES Ltd. and Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Private Limited bagged the awards in Small and Micro category respectively. Powergrid Corporation of India Limited won the award for contribution to the community.
PMI India Awards Program is well recognized by industry, Government, NGOs and project practitioners as the most prestigious award for projects and the project management community in India. Projects deliver the vision of organizations and project managers work within multiple challenges to execute these projects. It is therefore important to recognize successful projects and project managers.
