From Sequins to Macarons - Yauatcha X Manish Malhotra Yauatcha x Manish Malhotra launched limited edition haute desserts and gift boxes on Tuesday, 15th October 2019

Brides aren’t the only ones wearing Manish Malhotra’s fashionable designs this season. The design also adorns the new gift boxes and desserts from Yauatcha. In preparation of oncoming festivities, Yauatcha and Manish Malhotra have come together to form an exceptional collaboration of food and fashion, to launch limited-edition Haute desserts.

The launch event on Tuesday, 15^th October 2019 saw prominent personalities like designer Manish Malhotra, Karyna Bajaj, Indian film director Punit Malhotra, Lali Dhawan, Antara Motiwala Marwah, Sravanya Pittie, Pooja Makhija, Jaya Raheja, Bijal Meswani, Usha Kakde, Ishita Jain amongst others.

Drawing inspiration from the iconic Indian designer’s Festive Couture collection, Maahrumysha, the macarons and petit gâteaux will reflect the fine craftsmanship and intricate detailing that it embodies. A natural synergy that inspired this creative partnership, brings together Yauatcha’s delicate French inspired Patisserie with Manish Malhotra’s aesthetics and timeless designs.

Textural elements in the petit gâteaux will mimic fabrics like velvet while gold finishes will bring out the thoughtfully crafted gold thread zardozi work. Amidst the various desserts will be flourless chocolate cake, grand macaron, festive flavoured macarons and other mousse-based desserts.

From Sequins to Macarons, this collaborative collection is an amalgamation of the Indian festive spirit. It is Manish Malhotra’s tribute to the old-world regalia marrying the millennial charm and Yauatcha patisserie’s philosophy of presenting fresh, exciting flavours with classic European flair.
