Shikha’s passion for her work helps corporates to not only achieve their
objectives, but to also win awards for their campaigns! The
ITC Moms Magic Concert- Insta live, is perhaps the loveliest example of how
Shikha got the right “family” vibe when Covid-19 anxiety was at its peak. She
scripted beforehand after all ad-lib shimmers when you're
prepared! Bringing in some live audience members on video was
loved, so much so, the next series, ‘Power to Moms’ was launched gauging the
huge response the first series got. The campaign has been the most awarded
digital campaign of 2020 in the experiential space.
Shikha ensures
empathy is the driving force of her events, the humor
doesn’t hurt anyone’s sensibilities and so she would try self-deprecating humour or
punching up to make her audience smile. If she were to tell the truth, she would tell it nicely! In the world of
virtual hosting, to make things real, Shikha did everything from
singing with Harshdeep Kaur to doing live screen workouts
with Mandira Bedi and Yasmin Karachiwala. The fact that these Experts knew her
well from before helped, as the audience could see the conversations being
comfortable.
Shikha innovated big time for Bayer Crop Science Live
Lucky draw events. Doing Facebook Live with a very large audience of Farmers
wasn’t easy as excitement meter was to be kept high without ‘any’ glitches.
Live chats on phone with lucky farmers required Shikha to speak in chaste
Hindi. She imbibed a feeling of belongingness and winning among a set of
audience she hadn’t interacted much before. The series was big hit and the
comments on Facebook were a live testimonial to how happy the customer’s
customers were!
Shikha also crafted innovative icebreakers and cool
content combined with captivating looks and energetic body language but most of
all she took genuine interest in the subject at hand so she can relate to the
experts as well as the participants. It required her to work harder during
back-to-back events but the rewards were nothing less than exponential as work
kept pouring in during the unprecedented year as we call it.
There is a joke that for most companies it wasn’t the
CEO or CTO but Corona which did the Digital Transformation. The story was no
different for Shikha. Playing the role of a ‘Crisis Manager’ or a
‘Troubleshooter’ with a heart-brain sync while
being the Anchor is one thing, but knowing requisite technology to know what
could go wrong is another. Shikha mastered the art and science of connectivity
whether it was Zoom Webinars, Insta or Facebook live or the Virtual stage.
To enhance the experience, Shikha set up a Virtual
Studio at her home with the latest Tech gadgets. Everything from a tele
prompter to make sure no important points were missed out or to LED studio
lights and photo studio equipment to “Alexa” Dot for keeping track of meetings
and appointments for dry runs, brainstorming sessions and celeb briefings were
installed. The right technology helped her to not only produce quality work but
to come across as a thorough professional who was one of the best in business. At the end, the art of being herself, sticking to her own
persona & taking feedbacks mindfully, have always
been paramount to Shikha.
