“The pandemic has pushed the envelope for HR strategies across the board, making employees the core of every organization’s business strategy. At Amway, our employees and direct sellers are at the heart of everything we do and we prioritize their health and wellbeing above all. To ensure our support to them during these testing times, we were one of the first organizations to announce sponsorship of Covid-19 vaccinations for all eligible employees and their family members. Additionally, we have partnered with hospitals for dedicated inoculation slots for our employees and are also planning to set up vaccination camps at our headquarters in Gurugram, however, those will be done with utmost precautions while following SOPs, protocols and guidelines strictly stated by the Government.

To further ease the process, we have partnered with eKincare providing our employees with the flexibility in selecting the vaccination center, date and time as per their convenience. The current government guidelines is covering citizens above 45 years of age and/or people with comorbidities for vaccination and now with the recent announcement by the Government of India  on the “Liberalised and Accelerated Phase 3 strategy of Covid-19 Vaccination” which allows vaccinations for all individuals above 18 years from May 1. All our employees below 45 years will also be able to schedule vaccination for self and eligible family members through Ekincare.

We rolled out multiple employee initiatives and benefits to support our employees and their families through the pandemic last year too. We extended employee benefits to covering the expenses arising on account of COVID-19 treatment under Amway India’s existing employee Mediclaim plan in addition to conducting a voluntary & optional COVID test camp & Home collection for all employees & their families and all contractual staff.

All our initiatives have been launched to extend support to our employees and aid the government’s efforts to combat and contain the pandemic, that has affected us globally”.

“As the country witnesses a spike in the coronavirus cases again, we at Amway India, taking the learnings from the past year, have taken proactive measures to continue to ensure the safety and well-being of our employees. In line with this, we will continue to work remotely and avoid visiting the office, unless absolutely necessary. Our manufacturing units and stores however, will continue to functional as per the standard operating procedures laid down by the local authorities taking into account strict social distancing and safety protocols.

We are already offering sponsorship of Covid-19 vaccinations for all our employees and their families. Additionally, we have also partnered with hospitals for arranging COVID Vaccination at their premises exclusively for Amway employees. Through these initiatives we urge our employees to get themselves and their families vaccinated to help combat the pandemic”.
